Anatomy Of A Paddle Stroke - Efficiency

Move the hull forward without rock, roll or yaw.

Have a properly sequenced and coordinated body motion.

Paddle the water, don't paddle the boat.

Yeah, sometimes people focus too much on the boat and its movement, and forget that you have to concentrate on the water to get the boat to move. Kayaking is a great exercise because it allows you to exercise multiple muscles at the same time. And what's better about it is you can do it in majestic streams or wild rivers.
